KR 02 - KLOOF

Kloof explores the tension between weight and opening, with sculpted mineral surfaces parting to reveal a warm metallic passage beneath. Earthy tonal variation, tactile texture, and deliberately irregular edges give the piece the character of something shaped by hand and time.

Each element is individually formed and finished, including the custom attached frame, which has been hand-treated with a stone-like texture to become part of the work itself. Subtle variations in surface, edge, texture, and finish are intentional and inherent to the handmade process. Kloof is not designed to feel machine-perfect; its irregularities are part of its material character and make each piece entirely unique.
